Two strangers met one day, by chance,
A handsome young lad and a beautiful lass.
Near a grassy knoll in their Elven village
They both did happen to pass.
The young Elven man halted fast
At her beauty, so graceful and fair.
He plucked a bright yellow flower
And placed it gently in her aburn hair.
The lovely Elven lass smiled shyly.
He reached his hand out imploringly.
She placed hers within it, he kissed her fingers
And gazed at her adoringly.
She belonged to him at once.
He asked if with him she would abide.
She answered, "I'd follow you to the end
Of Elanthia to stay by your side."
The two lovestruck souls
wandered together through the lands,
Exploring every nook and cranny,
Heart and heart, hand in hand.
He asked, "My love, will you be my bride?"
She smiled and looked deep into his grey eyes,
And his heart skipped a beat, maybe even two,
For he *knew* before she gave her reply.
He knew that the two would be one
For eternity, endless love abound,
And the young lass gave thanks to the gods
That a love so true could be found.
She looked up at him with adoration,
A radiant smile across her delicate face.
The young Elf kissed her forehead tenderly
And enfolded her into his loving embrace.
So lived the blessed couple,
Bestowed with the love that fate had dealt.
Its gift is a miraculous touch
That these two lovers felt.
It all started one day
When two strangers met, by chance,
And they knew they were meant for each
Other in life's magical dance.
