The mission of all Apostles is to "Protect, Inform, Lead and Serve the Law-abiding Citizens of Elanthia."

Our members use the following goals to support this mission. We commit ourselves to organize the citizens for times of conflict, to form a good information network and utilize it to inform the citizenry, and to set strong moral examples, while encouraging others to follow.

Apostles come from all walks and stations of life, and the organization has evolved to fit our needs. Those that support our cause and efforts, but find themselves with other commitments, are called Apostle supporters. They are Apostles that may belong to other orders, may have other commitments that allow them to favor no one order over another, or may favor life outside of all orders but still support our cause and principals.

Those that have a deeper commitment to the Order are called Apostle members. Members partake in monthly service projects designed to foster good will with the people of Elanthia, and survey the many cities of the realms for changes to our strategies and defensive tactics. Members also undergo these service projects to practice and sharpen their leadership skill, making them better fighters who are well suited to leading their fellow adventures into hard combat and overwhelming opposition.

The choice of being a full member or a supporter is fully up to you. You will be granted the title and rights of an Apostle simply by stating your desire to be involved. You must, of course, hold true to the mission and do your best to follow the goals. Strength is found in numbers, and when invaders are pushing the walls of our cities like a flood at full crest, it is that strength that will hold the gates, and push back the flood. We hope you will add your strength to ours and find it within yourself to become involved. To involve yourself with any group is to seek to become more then just one man or woman. You are seeking to be part of some larger picture. Never think that you are too young or inexperienced to start or to make a difference. I have spent year upon year, level upon level, leading and learning, and I still discover something new everyday. Learning and self-discovery is one gift of being an Apostle. However, the greatest gift I can give you, comes from interaction with others. The chance to meet and help people will fill you with that warm intangible gift. It is a gift I hope you will accept and share with every person you meet in the cities and wilderness of Elanthia.
