SATURDAY, JULY 18th, 1998 Festival Lunch Perhaps the most widely popular event of all, the festival lunch was held in honor of Simutronics' new product, Hercules & Xena: Alliance of Heroes. Held between two series of seminars, the Festival lunch featured entertainers such as tarot card readers, fortune tellers, sword jugglers, stilt-walkers, belly-dancers and a Greek band. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very upbeat. Once lunch was over seminars started up again, but not before everyone had their fill of the Great Yak Race (a trivia game based in DragonRealms - shown right), Jousting and throwing pies at their favorite Simutronics Staffers.
This year we offered 29 seminars with widely ranging topics and areas of interest. Some of our smaller seminars were attended by small crowds of 5 or 10, while some of the larger seminars (such as the "Create your Own ..." workshops) were attended by 150 people or more. The seminars were such a hit that we decided to bring them back for SimuCon 99!
