They're holidays! Each of these occasions are an opportunity for remembrance or recognition, and what better way to do that than with an Elanthian greeting card?

With that in mind, I'm pleased to announce a new contest for the readers of Waerd Aev: Design an Elanthian Greeting Card! Realizing that not everyone has or knows how to deal with graphics design software, we open to you two categories. One is for graphic-based cards and the other is for text only.

1. Remember that the standard greeting card has a face with a message area inside.
2. All entries must have an Elanthian theme, and any occasion may be used.
3. Graphic entries should be in .jpg format whenever possible.
4. Text entries should be in .txt format, and should include a description of the graphics that would have been used.
5. All entries must be submitted by midnight EST on Wednesday, 05/16/01.
6. One prize will be awarded in each category, that being the sum of 4 plat kronars.
