Armor Accessories

< previousarmornext >

A good set of armor can take years of work to build, between the cost of materials and labor and the hunt to find craftsmen capable of providing the desired enhancements. Fortunately it is not difficult to upgrade an armor within a group. Armor accessories can increase the effective ASG of any armor. They provide greater overall coverage to the wearer, and cost significantly less than purchasing a head-to-toe armor set.

The three basic types of accessories are:

Arm Coverage
Leg Coverage
Head and Neck Coverage

Arm Coverage

There are a wide variety of accessories which may provide arm coverage. Strictly speaking, the material used to create an arm armor does not affect an adventurer's statistics. Adventurers may find arm coverage in the form of arm greaves, bracers, gauntlets, armguards, and more. Base DU/ST is 185/25.

Leg Coverage

There are a wide variety of accessories which may provide leg coverage. Strictly speaking, the material used to create a leg armor does not affect an adventurer's statistics. Adventurers may find leg coverage in the form of leg greaves, and coudieres, among others. Base DU/ST is 200/25.

Head and Neck Coverage

There are a wide variety of accessories which may provide head coverage, neck coverage or both. Strictly speaking, the material used to create head and neck armor does not affect an adventurer's statistics. Adventurers may find head and neck coverage in the form of helms, coifs and aventails, among others.

Base DU/ST
leather helm 200/30
visored helm 290/40
metal aventail 300/45
