Lun'Shele Trekhalo | Areas Sighted: M'Riss. |
Description:
You see a lithe, slender creature looking like a cross between a degenerate
elf and a desperate halfling, large-eyed, large-eared, and dirty. The
smears of mud that form most of its apparel may be ritual markings or
perhaps vermin control, but the colors and patterns help to hide it as
it hunts. A cape of bedraggled feathers marks the trekhalo as a chieftain
among the Lun'Shele. With several strings of teeth around its neck, the
trekhalo carries its staffsling with casual confidence and exudes an air
of power from its lean, muscular body. Standing on two legs the Lun'Shele trekhalo is big and has wings. It looks back at you, a bit agitated. |

Rock Troll | Areas Sighted: Kaerna area. Derelict Road, Shard area. |
Description: The rock troll towers menacingly over you, its small, beady black eyes glittering with a dim, cruel intelligence and set into a face that is pockmarked and surmounted by an incredibly long and wart-covered nose. Its skin is a gray slate color, and the nails on its hideous hands are broken and yellowed. Beneath them, you notice bits of flesh and dirt, and the stench of rotting flesh and decay is thick about the brutal creature.
Equipment: Pine sapling, leather coat/leather breastplate. | Rating: *** |
Swamp Troll | Areas Sighted: Zaulfung, Riverhaven area. |
Description: The swamp troll is a tall, ungainly humanoid-shaped conglomeration of branches, leaves, mud, and foulness... or at least that's all that's visible. Rumor has it there is flesh and bone beneath the plant matter, but if so, it's probably even uglier than the crud that covers it.
Equipment: Pike staff. | Rating: *** |
Wood Troll | Areas Sighted: Northeast Wilds/Northeast Vineyards, Crossings area. Woodlands, Langenfirth area. Ker' Leor, Theren area. |
Description: The wood troll stands between seven and eight feet in height. Its skin is a tough, bark-like texture, covered haphazardly with patches of a mossy gray fur. It looks at you with beady black eyes, staring down a long nose that protrudes from his face like a twisted root.
Equipment: Bo stick/war club/bludgeon, leather coat, leather helm. | Rating: ** |
Scabby Trollkin | Areas Sighted: Brambles, Crossing area. |

Morah Vine | Areas Sighted: Ker' Leor, Theren area. |
Description: From a species of flesh-eating plant known to inhabit some of Elanthia's less-explored forests, the morah vine resembles a thorn vine, with its tapering body and razor-like leaves which cover it like plate armor. The reddish tip of each leaf should have indicated to you that this was a dangerous plant, but now that you are close enough to look at it, may the gods preserve you in your attempt to get away with your life.
Equipment: None. | Rating: *** |
Thicket Viper | Areas Sighted: Wilderness, Crossings area. |
Description: Nearly as wide as a full grown human, it's also much longer and it often measures 15 feet in length. Fierce, deadly and the foe of all who meet it, it seems at times to express almost human qualities. Some legends suggest that the thicket viper was indeed among the races of our kind but were enchanted into the poisonous, hateful thing you now see.
Equipment: None. | Rating: *** |
Sun Vulture | Areas Sighted: Kweld Andu, Langenfirth area. |
Description: Propped up on two huge talons, this vulture stands as a giant over its airborne cousins. The skin of this bear-sized beast is painted in charred blackness, covered by short, stiff hairs. Though equipped with fully functioning wings, the thing appears to be flightless despite an overly abundant amount of flapping.
Equipment: None. | Rating: ** |
Armored Warklin | Areas Sighted: Poho-dapi'botuk, Pokekehekepi area. |
Description: The armored warklin greatly resembles some of the more exotic tropical beetleforms, inasmuch as it has many legs, and a hardened carapace surrounding its segmented body. The two legs closest to its face are heavily armored, the plates covered with sharp, serrated edges and capped with barbed hooks. However, the remaining legs are incredibly long, and arch up perhaps a Tog in height before descending to where the body hangs several handbreadths above the ground. Glossy black eyes peer out from behind a visor-like shell protrusion, seemingly looking into distant space, but the jerking precision of its movements suggests that it is fully aware of what transpires around it. That and the speed with which it rends apart invaders to its dwelling demonstrates its strangely insectile cunning.
Equipment: None. | Rating: ***** |
Adan'f Blood Warrior | Areas Sighted: Woods, Shard area. |
Description: Like all of the Adan'f race, the bloodwarrior vaguely resembles a large lizard, complete with green-black scales and forked tongue. Slitted red eyes are set deeply into its triangular skull, over triple rows of gleaming pointed teeth. A long, sinuous neck leads down to a stocky body, thickly corded with muscle. The bloodwarrior's large chest and legs provide great strength and speed, and its long barbed tail provides excellent balance. Its arms end in three strong fingers, tipped by sharp, stained claws.
Equipment: Shhrtel Hammer, battered oval shield, rusted plate, dented visor helm. | Rating: ***** |
Mottled Westanuryn | Areas Sighted: M'Riss. |
Description: Barely two feet long and made of dense chitin and sinew, the westanuryn resembles an oversized, nightmarish scorpion, right down to the vicious looking stinger held aloft in perpetual readiness. Lined along its front claws are jagged armor plates, most likely used to burrow through sand and dirt at speed, and provide additional protection from struggling prey to the front.
Equipment: None. | Rating: *** |
Blood Wolf | Areas Sighted: Neer's Hummock, Langenfirth area. Aesry area. |

Equipment: None. | Rating: ** |
Bone Wolf | Areas Sighted: Kweld Andu, Langenfirth area. |
Description: Small, thin, and ill-tempered as displayed by a warning growl, the beast is an ugly cousin of the other wolves of Elanthia. Its thick hide offers great protection but is an unsightly dull gray marked by intermittent splotches of coarse fur.
Equipment: None. | Rating: ** |
Revenant Zombie | Description: Standing on two legs the revenant zombie is humanoid size. Its eyes blaze with a burning hatred, unfocused but entirely malevolent. |
