Two-Handed Weapons

< previousweaponsnext >

Two-handed weapons are weapons which require both hands to grasp, thus can not be used with a shield.  The weapons which belong to this group resemble weapons from many of the other groups. However, there is a distinct difference in the sheer size and weight of these weapons. In general, two-handed weapons hit a great deal harder and do more damage than one-handed weapons.  The trade-off is less defense offered by a shield.

Though they go by dozens of names, there are nine primary categories of two-handed weapons:

Bastard Sword Military Pick
Battle Axe Quarter Staff
Claidhmore Two Handed Sword
Flail War Mattock
Flamberge Katana
Maul
